Stress Management- Handling Stress- Part 1

Stress has become an innate part of everybody’s lives. Some of us think that we cannot survive without stress. Many of us also think that without stress you cannot accomplish your tasks for the day. However, the reality is there is so much which can be achieved even without stress; it would not be an exaggeration to say that one can accomplish much more than imagined than when you were under stress.

Many times stress can easily be removed from our life. There is no need of going for drastic changes or medications to handle stress. By taking some steps you can easily say goodbye to stress and embrace a new way of enriched living.

Let us look at some of the lifestyle changes which can bring down or eliminate stress from your life.

Waking Up Early:

The main reason why stress is created is running to complete the task at the last moment. You have that important meeting and you also have to prepare a presentation in advance. Time is running and you just get a few minutes before the meeting to get the presentation in place. Now, who is the one who created stress? The meeting, the presentation, or you?

Any sane person would answer me that it’s YOU. If you wake up a little earlier than you usually wake up, you can easily accomplish all your tasks with ease. Why you have to rush through the brushing, exercising, or eating session? If you wake up fifteen minutes earlier than you usually do, you can complete all your tasks without inviting unnecessary stress in your life. Give it a thought.

To do lists:

One reason why you create stress in your life is not having a well-defined lists of tasks on your list. This is why most of the time we think we have nothing to do and while away the time on social media. This creates unnecessary chaos. When we suddenly realize that we have only a few minutes or hours to complete a specific task, which we would have otherwise done during free time, it creates lots of stress and the work we deliver lacks quality. Hence, we should keep all the tasks on our daily to-do list and also create timetable for completing the tasks, we can live an organized life which is free of stress.

Shrugging laziness:

How many of us see the petrol tank indicator go down and still postpone refueling it? Many of us will say yes to this question. Keeping important tasks pending till the last moment often adds to our stress. Hence, before an emergency situation arises, you should complete your task to avoid stress.
